The Zach Waters Band is a Rock n Roll band from Sacramento, CA. This power trio consists of drummer Steve Pires, bassist Grayson Roberts, and is fronted by guitarist/vocalist Zach Waters. The first lineup of The Zach Waters Band was formed in 2016 when Zach was 16 years old, and since then has performed all over the West Coast, from San Diego to Seattle. (See our EPK below for more detailed achievements/accolades.) Taking inspiration from classic artists such as Jimi Hendrix, ACDC, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zeppelin, and more, this young artist is putting his own twist on the classic rock, blues driven genre. Powerful lyrics, dynamite rhythms, authentic showmanship, and screaming guitars are always to be expected at a ZWB show.
“A lot of people out there claim to be rock n roll, but rock n roll is so much more than a couple hours of music on a Friday night. Rock’n and Roll’n is a lifestyle, an energy that cannot be denied. Rock n Roll is about loud guitars, banging drums, stomping bass, and coming together to fight the challenges that life throws at us. So let’s all come together, and let the music take us far away” - ZWB
The Zach Waters Band has been fortunate enough to share the lighted stage with acts such as: Dokken, Y&T, Pat Travers, Albert Cummings, Frank Hannon, LA Guns, Gretchen Menn, Ron Artis II, Chris Cain, Tommy Castro, Jackie Greene, Atomik Tommy McClendon(UFO) The Darbies, and others! Furthermore, Zach is also an endorsed artist for Tantris Picks, and Thimble Guitar Slides. In 2018, the readers of SN&R Magazine voted the band as the best Blues/Rock act in the Sacramento region, and in 2019 were nominated for 3 Sacramento Music Awards (Blues, Teen Artist, Live Performer.) Most recently The Zach Waters Band has been nominated for another Sacramento Music Award for Rock Artist of the year (2020). Currently, the band is working on new releases/content creation. If you like real Rock n Roll from the soul, make sure to follow the Zach Waters Band!

The official music video for "Lookin' To Play"! We worked very hard on this song/video, and we hope that our message is clear to our fans. This year has been a tough one for everyone, especially musicians, and we tried to capture the emotion of wanting to rock again; we know that every rock n roll band out there is lookin' to play.
"Something' Funny" is an original song written and performed live by Zach Waters at the Uprock Sessions. A song written about personal trials and admittance, Waters breaks it down nice and groovy on the acoustic.
"Chose to live vicariously, let no label or genre paint your shadow. Breathe in music, and breathe out passion. Do not be confined to the restraints of fools and sinners. For it is time to discover your elemental value."
